Alderney restaurants have been added to this year’s Tennerfest for the first time in its history.
The Tennerfest starts on October 1 and will run for six weeks.
This year Alderney restaurants will be added to the bill for the first time as the northern isle looks to boost its Staycation campaign as we head into the autumn.
“We are very excited and pleased to have Alderney restaurants involved in the Tennerfest this year.” said Helene Turner, Director of Tourism at States of Alderney.

“Following a successful Bailiwick Bubble summer, we hope that this will encourage Bailiwick visitors to continue to visit as we move into the shoulder months to experience our wonderful food offering.”
Natalie de Woolfson from Tennerfest organiser Hamilton Brooke, said this year the hospitality industry needs a boost more than ever.
"Alderney has proved very popular as a Staycation destination for Guernsey residents and for many it has opened their eyes to what a lovely place it is to visit,” she said. “It’s not short of great restaurants either so we’re delighted that they are joining in this year’s promotion.”
“Across all of the islands, we have an industry that more than ever needs a boost and judging by the feedback we are getting there are hungry people ready and waiting to provide just that.
