A woman who organised a fundraiser for Guernsey Mind, in memory of her dad, has been delighted by the staggering amount raised.
Elise Trebert, who owns Toddler Sense Guernsey, organised a children's event with a raffle, held last weekend.
The total raised was £10,312.77.
Ms Trebert used her business Facebook page to thank her customers, local businesses, and other individuals for their generosity.
"There are far too many people to thank individually but please know we appreciate everyone's help and support, distributing tickets, buying raffle tickets, attending our event and making donations," she wrote.
Ms Trebert had arranged the fundraising in memory of her father, Kevin Trebert, who died in March 2022.
She has shared details about his death on her Facebook page, explaining why she wanted to raise money for Guernsey Mind during Mental Health Awareness Month.
Her fundraising has been so successful that she and her two staff members will now be getting tattoos.
They had pledged that if their joint Just Giving page fundraising exceeded their target of £500 they would each get a Toddler Sense Guernsey tattoo. They achieved £560 in donations online, which contributed to the overall total of more than £10,000, meaning they will each now get their new tattoo.
