A new virtual queuing system is being introduced into the Sure store in St Helier, as part of the telecoms company’s drive to improve the overall customer experience for islanders.

By downloading the Qtip.me app or by registering online (app.qtip.me), Sure customers will be able to enter a virtual queuing system rather than having to stand in the real thing, which wastes their time and means the shop can become crowded.

“The app simply gives you a ticket number and specifies how many people are in front of you. This means that you only need to go to the store once your ticket is close to being called, leaving you free to do other things with your time,” said Natalie Lynch, Sure’s Marketing and PR Manager.

“Qtip.me is a really simple system that we hope will reduce the length of queues in our store, removing an issue that our customers have raised with us as something that detracts from the overall customer experience,” said John Harvey, Sure’s Acting Head of retail & Commercial Operations.

“As much as Britain is famed for its love of queuing, the reality is that most of us would prefer to be doing something else. By using Qtip.me, that’s exactly what happens. Whether you want to visit other shops, stay at home or work for a bit longer, Qtip.me frees you up from queuing.”

Importantly, the app is both free to download and use. Islanders who wish to start using Qtip.me, can find it in the iPhone App Store, Google Play Store and Windows App store, or can register online at: app.qtip.me.
