Jersey Hospice Care is delighted to announce that over half of their Million Pound Lottery tickets have now been sold.

If ticket sales continue at this pace, they will all be sold by mid-August. The charity is encouraging individuals and syndicates intending to buy a ticket not to leave it too long, as they run the risk of missing out.

Steven Hunt, Chairman of Jersey Hospice Care Fundraising Ltd said, ‘Our lottery provides the public with the chance to win one million pounds and with £1.3m in the prize pot it means that the chances of winning a prize of at least £10,000 are one in six hundred. Just think of the difference a lucky ticket could bring you!’

This year is the tenth year Jersey Hospice Care has run the lottery and it has seen £11.7 million given away to islanders in prize money. To celebrate, the charity is inviting previous winners to come along to watch the live draw and be part of the excitement of the 10th event.

The tickets cost £300 each. Payment can be made by cash or cheque and purchasers must be aged over 18 years old.
