Jersey "By Invitation Only" (BIO) is a registered non-profit organisation which holds a ladies only charity luncheon on the second Saturday of March each year to help raise greatly needed funds for two fantastic charities: ‘Jersey Teenage Cancer Trust’ and ‘Jersey Hospice Care’.
Over 270 ladies attended the last luncheon which took place at The Royal Yacht Hotel on Saturday 14 March 2015.
With ticket and merchandise sales, a raffle, flower auction and donations an incredible £12,537.70 was raised which will be divided between the two charities.
Emma-Louise Nash, founder and sole organiser of the Jersey BIO luncheon’s said; "The luncheons started in 2008 and over the last seven years have raised an incredible £61,177.00. The success of the luncheons has been overwhelming and this couldn’t be achieved without the amazing support of the ladies who attend and the wonderful raffle prizes that are donated each year so I’d like to thank everyone who has supported the luncheon over the last seven years."
