Collas Crill evolves operational departments

In line with the firm's strategic goals for 2017, Collas Crill has further aligned its operational IT and business development departments with its global brand.

In recognition of their on-going strategic and global contributions, Nico Maritz will now take on the role of Chief Information Officer and Iain Beresford will take on the role of Chief Business Development & Marketing Officer.

Both Iain and Nico lead their respective teams and contribute to the firm's strategic development and growth across all of its offices.

Nico joined the firm in 2014 to deliver a step change in IT. Nico and his team have overhauled the firm's infrastructure, telephony, video conferencing and IT risk, aligning the firm's applications across its jurisdictions.

This has created the capability for the firm to integrate with its two merged firms in Cayman and BVI, allowing all six jurisdictions in the group to work on a single integrated platform.

Iain has continued to develop the firm’s strategic marketing and business development capabilities since joining the firm in 2008. He has been instrumental in developing the Collas Crill brand strategy and in developing an operational model to help drive change and achieve quantifiable business results.

Starting in the London office, Iain's role has grown with the firm, contributing to the public perception across its global markets, helping to enhance the firm's culture and focusing on client experience.
