The team at L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa are celebrating this week after being named Most Consistent Hotel for the second time at the prestigious Hand Picked Hotels’ annual prize giving.
The four AA Silver Star beachside hotel in St Brelade, which is part of the Hand Picked Hotels’ collection of 20 hotels across the UK and Channel Islands, won the same award in 2014 and was named the Group’s Hotel of the Year in 2015.
Ken Arkley, Commercial Director for Hand Picked Hotels, congratulated the team led by General Manager Simon Miller. He said: “L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa has had another very successful year. It has continued to achieve excellent quality and service results, retaining its position as the Hand Picked Hotel with the highest guest satisfaction score in the group.”
Continuing, Mr Arkley said, “It consistently demonstrates the performance and behaviours which define a true Hand Picked Hotel.”
Mr Miller picked up the award at the event, held this year at the Group’s Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa in Nantwich, Cheshire.
Commenting on the win, he said, “We’re thrilled to have picked up this award again. It really is testament to our team who work so hard to ensure our guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay with us and is recognition of another stellar year for L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa.”
The hotel, a former private beachside house, has 106 bedrooms and three restaurants and was awarded four silver stars by the AA for its superior level of quality and high standards. It has a stylish spa and health club, with a well equipped gym, an indoor 15 metre pool, spa pool, sauna and steam room, plus six treatment rooms, relaxation area, pedicure and manicure area and sleep room.
