Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said, “We have been running dog and cat first aid courses for over five years and have trained over 250 participants to help save animals lives.”

"We have ‘Casper’ who is their model first aid dog a bit like the Annie doll many may know for humans and he is a great way to show and learn how to carry out CPR on an unconscious dog."

"For those worried, they have missed the last course we will soon announce dates for 2020."

"As owners of pets, our worst fear is not knowing what to do if our four-legged friend has an injury and this training helps pet owners learn and understand ways to help save your pets life."

The date for the next first aid course is Monday 18 November 2019 - 18.30 - 20.45 - Ref - Dog 18/11
