Humanitarian Aid Guernsey has been approached by Catherine Hall on behalf of her son Ben Hall, who wanted to assist with the Ukrainian War Crisis and our charity's aid work.

Although Ben is a young man who is autistic and does not work due to his level of disability, he enjoys arts and craft. Ben makes simple craft jewellery and had the idea to create bracelets in the colours of the Ukrainian flag.

Natalia Silvester, founder of Humanitarian Aid Guernsey, met with Catherine and Ben on 19 April 2022, who delivered a box of handmade Ukrainian bracelets during their meeting

“It is great to see someone like Ben, who can be seen facing some challenges with his disabilities, reach out to us and want to do some good. This is exactly how our charity originally started, just individuals who reached out to each other wanting to do some good”

The bracelets will be available for sale in Crepe Maison in the next few days. Just keep a lookout on our social media pages for more information. If you wish to provide any assistance contact PR and Social Media Manager Sofi Noakes on 07839 199 916 or sofi@humanitarianaid.gg
