The Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation’s (PPBF) new website has gone live.
“Our new website aims to make accessing our information much easier and quicker. We can now set up online fundraisers for people. It’s also easier to make donations with a button directly via the PPBF website and you can choose where your donation goes.”; says Jo Priaulx, Co-founder of the PPBF. “The new branding is softer and more tactile which we love and TPA have redesigned the layout making it mobile-friendly.”
“We’ve also linked our site to Andy’s (Priaulx, Co-founder and Triple World Motorsport Champion) and our son Seb.” continues Jo. “People are often interested in both their motorsport careers and our charity, so we’ve made them easier to find and vice-versa”.
The new PPBF website includes heart-warming stories to help families that may be going through similar experiences. “We want to thank those parents for their invaluable contribution”; praises Andy. “Their journeys are all different and we hope new parents going through the neonatal unit can find comfort in them.”
Bailiwick of Guernsey families of premature babies that require special care, or seriously ill children suffering a life-threatening condition, are offered support by the charity who provide 2 flats free of charge right next door to Southampton Hospital. Families can stay in comfort and privacy during the immensely difficult time their child is in Southampton Hospital and away from home. The properties are a safe-haven to families, which the charity needs to find around £30,000 a year for their essential upkeep and maintenance. The charity also provides gorgeous baby boxes, full of essentials and treats for baby and parents on the neonatal unit which cost around £100 each. In addition, the PPBF fundraises to supply equipment that the local neonatal unit may need.
