Lihou's Incredible Duck Race is taking place this weekend.
The event starts at midday on Sunday and the first Duck Race starts at 12:30.
The Lihou Duck Race is said by organisers to be unlike "any other duck race you may have been to or seen elsewhere", as the ducks race each other down a homemade pathway with twists and turns.
The first duck to exit the course will be promoted to the next heat and the overall winner will receive a cash prize amounting to 20% of all the duck race entry money.
Racing ducks will be available to purchase on the day in Lihou for £5 a duck.
Refreshments will be available from within Lihou house during the event for a donation.
People are asked to register on Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/lihou-duck-race-2021-tickets-147179789713), and fill in each attendee, as organisers will need the ticket on arrival to Lihou in order to comply with Public Health advice on large gatherings.
