The EDABL Seafront Sunday will go ahead this weekend on Sunday 18 September from 10am to 5pm.
It was scheduled ahead of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and organisers have agreed it can go ahead, with some modifications in light of the period of National Mourning.
Luke Wheadon, Chair of the EDABL committee said: “We felt it was important to continue with our final event of the season but are conscious that Sunday falls in the period of national mourning and is the day before the state funeral for HM The Queen.
“To acknowledge this we have asked the stallholders to display a black ribbon on their stall as a mark of respect or make their own personal tribute should they wish.
“The day will see food, drink, arts and crafts stalls along the seafront and Crown Pier as well as live music and we hope that the public will come to support our local producers and musicians.”
