Condor is cancelling its high speed sailings from Poole on Wednesday and Thursday of this week due to the prolonged spell of extremely stormy weather in the northern English Channel. With predicted wind speeds above safe operating limits, the company has today cancelled its services between Poole, Guernsey and Jersey for 19 and 20 September and placed other departures for this weekend under review. Condor’s customer contact centre and port teams are notifying all passengers affected to offer alternative sailings and help rearrange their travel plans. All are being offered free transfers to other services or a full refund. The schedules affected on both days are the 09:15 departure from Poole to Guernsey, the 12:45 Guernsey to Jersey, the 14:45 Jersey to Guernsey sailing and the return from Guernsey to Poole at 16:25. Condor is monitoring the long range weather forecast and will make further announcements on possible changes to this weekend’s schedules when more information is available.
