Aurigny is advising customers that there may be possible disruption to it flight schedule this weekend due to storm Ciara, which is due to arrive on Saturday.
Whilst forecasts can change for the better, or the worse, Aurigny would like to offer its customers prior warning, so that those wishing to amend their travel plans can do so.
Whilst we will do our utmost to operate, and no flights have yet been cancelled at this point - we are anticipating possible disruption from Saturday morning lasting as long as Tuesday evening, especially for the Dornier operation.
Our advice for our destinations is as follows: -
Alderney services
We are expecting the weather to deteriorate as early as Saturday with cross-winds likely to disrupt flights in and out of the island and strong winds to continue to affect services right up until the end of Tuesday 11 February 2020. During this time there is possibility that conditions may be out of operational limits.
All other destinations in and out of Guernsey
We are expecting the winds to be at their strongest during Sunday and into the morning of Monday 10 February 2020. During this time there is possibility that conditions may be out of operational limits.
