Visitors to the ambulance station on the Rohan's are being advised of some changes while building work continues.

The Ambulance and Rescue reception and administration office will be temporarily relocating to the old Healthcare Shop building, opposite the main ambulance garages from Tuesday 14 January.

To enable the move to take place the administration office will close at 4.30pm on Thursday 9 January and will remain closed all day on Friday 10th and Monday 13th January, reopening in the new location from 9am on Tuesday 14th.

The main ambulance station telephone line, 01481 725211, will remain operational during normal office hours while the relocation is taking place.

Anyone wishing to renew their ambulance subscription or join the subscription scheme for 2025 is being reminded that this can be done at any branch of Guernsey Post or online via https://ambulance.gg/charges-subscriptions

The building works are the next phase of a refurbishment project which started in the autumn and are scheduled to continue until the end of 2025.

Last October the ambulance service issued a media release advising visitors that building works were underway at the Rohais site, resulting in reduced visitor parking and additional traffic movements.

The St John Guernsey training hall, which is used for private functions, meetings, Badgers and Cadets remains open. Access to the St John Community Library, which is open every Tuesday afternoon, is also being maintained, with parking spaces reserved for users.
