Walkers has signed a sponsorship deal with the Guernsey Women’s Golf Development Squad to support more opportunities for on and off island training and competitions.
The 2023 season is underway with Walkers – based at Helvetia Court - committing to support and sponsor the group for the next three years.
Matt Sanders, Walkers' Managing Partner in Guernsey, said: "We are delighted to be supporting this growing group which provides support and training for female players of all ages and abilities.
"As we continue to grow, we are mindful of the need to have an impact on the wider community here in Guernsey, and we look forward to helping the Guernsey Women's Golf Development Squad achieve its bold goals for raising the profile and accessibility of the sport in the island."

The Squad was set up by golfer, Angela Goddard, who wanted to nurture and develop female golfers in the island to compete at inter-insular level and beyond. There are over 50 regular players in the GWGDS.
She said Walkers' support will provide members with a lot more opportunities.
“Now in our fifth year, the squad has evolved and learnt each year what is required to help grow the female game here in the island,” she said.
