TMF Group staff come together under one roof

Following the acquisition of State Street’s funds business in the Channel Islands by TMF Group, the two teams in Guernsey are now under one roof at Mill Court.

The hope is this move will foster a 'one TMF mentality'.

It comes hot on the heels of the deal in September 2019, which bolsters TMF Group’s presence in Guernsey and Jersey, creating a Channel Islands business with circa 250 people.

Part of the TMF Group network of more than 125 offices cross 80 jurisdictions, the Channel Islands are a core part of the TMF business, offering funds, corporate, private wealth and employee benefit services. 

Talking about the move, Cengiz Somay states: “The deal was part of our strategic plan - we have become a serious player in the Channel Islands with real scale and an experienced and qualified workforce. Our teams in Guernsey are now under one roof and we are in the process of securing an office large enough to fit both of our Jersey teams.
