Julius Baer Guernsey says it has strengthened its UK Intermediaries team with the addition of "two highly experienced Relationship Managers", James Coquelin and Clare Stone.
Both have more than 20 years of experience in Guernsey’s financial services industry to the team.
Mr Coquelin's career has spanned private banking, credit, and various investment roles, and he is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment
“Julius Baer’s External Asset Management (EAM) team really appealed to me due to their unparalled specialised expertise in serving EAMs and their clients," he said.
"I’m excited to support in fulfilling their clients' investment and banking requirements while also exploring opportunities where Julius Baer's in-house investment and credit solutions can add significant value.”
Mrs Stone previously worked at the Royal Bank of Canada (Channel Islands) Limited since 2001, where she held progressively senior roles in Global Custody and Private Banking.
As an Associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, she said her focus on serving EAMs made Julius Baer a natural choice.
“I’m looking forward to forming trusted and long-term partnerships with clients, empowering them through the right coverage, technology, and solutions.”
Shaun Kelling, Head of Intermediaries UK at Julius Baer Guernsey, welcomed both Mr Coquelin and Mrs Stone to the team.
“James and Clare’s extensive experience and commitment to excellence will undoubtedly strengthen our ability to serve our EAM clients, we’re lucky to have them onboard. Their appointments emphasise Julius Baer's dedication to growth and key talent acquisition, ensuring we continue to exceed client expectations and drive strategic growth.”
