Local estate agents Savills will be establishing a new combined headquarters in the Royal Terrace, after signing a 15-year lease for the site of the former Urban Kitchen.
The 4,500 sq ft office will combine the existing commercial and residential offices, currently located at Smith Street and Le Truchot respectively. It will be the first time the company's 29 staff will be operating under one roof.
"We are thoroughly delighted to be bringing our Guernsey business together into one office, which will be of huge benefit to both our staff and our clients," said Tony Rowbotham, Head of Commercial at Savills Guernsey.
"This new office, which will comprise a modern working environment and cutting edge design, will further cement our position in Guernsey."
Fit-out plans for the transformation are currently being finalised and will be put out to tender for contractors soon.
"We are looking forward to the opportunity offered by occupying one of the most visible and prestigious offices on the seafront," said Richard Fox, Head of Residential.
"Combining our residential and commercial businesses under one roof will enable us to provide an enhanced service offering to clients, strengthening our activity in the Bailiwick and across the Channel Islands."
