Orbitus Group has announced the appointment of Samuel Stoddart ACG as Fund and Corporate Manager and Group Company Secretary.
A Chartered Company Secretary and Chartered Governance Professional, he has more than a decade of experience in Guernsey’s finance industry.
Having been admitted as an Associate of the Chartered Governance Institute (formerly ICSA) in 2023, he has developed a keen understanding of corporate governance and its critical role in navigating today’s evolving regulatory landscape.
Mr Stoddart's expertise spans fund and corporate structures, with a particular focus on ensuring effective governance practices that provide robust support for boards and shareholders alike.
Chris de Putron, Managing Director of Orbitus Group, said Mr Stoddart's strategic insight and ability to manage complex requirements, such as economic substance and evolving pension legislation, will enhance the Orbitus team’s capabilities.
