Saffery Champness Registered Fiduciaries Director, Lisa Vizia, has won the silver award in the Woman of the Year - Business Growth (mid-size) category at the 2020 Citywealth Powerwomen Awards.

The Powerwomen Awards, which champions women in the wealth sector, was held on 3 March in London and hosted by Mark Durden-Smith. It saw Miss Vizia shortlisted along with other respected female leaders.

Miss Vizia heads up a dedicated family office team in Guernsey managing offshore structures for ultra-high net worth families with a particular focus on the Middle East.

“The Powerwomen Awards is always a great event, bringing successful women together across the wealth, professional services and legal sectors. I’m honoured to have received this award and to have been considered alongside such strong candidates. Whilst this award highlights my individual achievement, it really is a team effort and would not have been possible without the great people we have at Saffery Champness,” she said.

The awards were established in 2014 by Editor and Founder of international publication house Citywealth, Karen Jones, with the objective of highlighting female leaders across all international financial centres (IFCs). The winners were selected by a panel of industry expert judges from various financial, fiduciary and advisory backgrounds.

Managing Director of Saffery Champness in Guernsey, Nick Batiste, said: “Lisa is an asset to the firm and it is great to see that her credentials as a leader in the fiduciary sector and her commitment, hard work and dedication are rightly being recognised."
