PwC has further strengthened its leadership team with a pivotal promotion recognising continued growth opportunities in the Channel Islands.

In continuing PwC’s efforts to drive talent diversity from the top, newly admitted Partner, Lisa McClure, will play a vital role in leading and shaping PwC’s strategic direction, with particular focus on Asset Management and Real Estate Services across the Channel Islands and beyond.

Ms McClure has been with the PwC network for 15 years, having originally joined the firm’s Guernsey office as a qualified accountant in 2003. Since then she has amassed significant local and international experience, including a six month secondment at PwC in Sydney, and is now permanently based at PwC in Jersey. Her specialist niche is in Real Estate and she invests a lot of time building strong working connections with Government, Regulators, The International Stock Exchange and Fiduciary Service Providers to cement the Channel Islands’ position as a centre of excellence for Real Estate investment.

In more recent years, Ms McClure has additionally been instrumental in recruiting some exceptional talent into the local firm. Asked what inspires her most about her career to date, she said:  “It’s the people. I genuinely thrive on seeing first year trainees flourish – from those early induction days, to celebrating with them as they pass their professional exams, to proud promotion milestones and seeing them embark on overseas secondment experiences full of opportunity at other PwC firms within the network – I truly do my best to connect with applicants from the moment they are welcomed through PwC’s doors for their very first interview.”

PwC Senior Partner Simon Perry said: “I had the task of interviewing Lisa back in 2003 and, even then, she stood out because of her remarkable ability to connect with people. Lisa genuinely lives our PwC values, delivers exceptional quality and client service, innovates and inspires those around her. This proven ability to build trusted and collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues, combined with her global expertise and in-depth local knowledge, continues to differentiate Lisa against the competition and I wish her every success in her new role.”
