Partner at Mourant called to Guernsey Bar

A partner at Mourant has been called to the Guernsey Bar by the Royal Court.

Alana Gillies Ridout is a qualified solicitor and completed her Guernsey bar exams earlier this year.

“I’ve lived and worked in Guernsey for over seven years but admission to the Guernsey Bar and becoming a fully qualified Guernsey advocate makes me feel like I have truly arrived,” she said.

Ms Ridout joined Mourant five years ago and is excited to start offering her legal services to the community.

“Qualifying as an advocate and joining the Guernsey Bar is a huge achievement which requires a great amount of dedication,” said Managing Partner at Mourant, John Lewis.

“Alana should be proud of her accomplishment and we’re very pleased to have her talent and experience in Mourant’s partnership.”
