Orchard joint MD becomes chartered

Monday 22 October 2018

Orchard PR joint Managing Director Brooke Kenyon has become a chartered PR practitioner meaning that she has attained the highest standard of professional excellence and integrity.

She is one of 255 chartered public relations practitioners of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ 10,000 membership and one of nine in the Channel Islands, which has the highest proportion of chartered members of any CIPR regional group.

Before being granted chartered status Ms Kenyon needed to demonstrate her knowledge of ethics, strategy and leadership and show her commitment to life-long learning.

Sarah Hall, CIPR President, said: “Employers and clients who take their reputation seriously want to work with trustworthy professionals who can protect and enhance their organisation.

“Chartered status is an assurance that you operate at the very highest professional and ethical standards.”

Ms Kenyon is the third employee of Orchard to achieve chartered status, joining existing chartered practitioners joint MD Chris Chilton and founder Steve Falla.

“Communications is a fast-moving profession; therefore updating your knowledge and skills is not only important but critical to delivering creative and relevant campaigns for clients," she said.

"To have three Chartered practitioners at Orchard demonstrates to our clients and to the wider business community that we uphold the highest standards in all aspects of our public relations activity.”
