Local PR and communications agency Orchard PR has won Small Consultancy of the Year in the South West region of the Public Relations and Communications Association Dare Awards.

The agency, which employs 11 people and operates in Guernsey, Jersey, and the Isle of Man, has been recognised by a panel of industry experts at a virtual awards ceremony.

Entries for the PRCA Dare Awards were assessed on the originality and implementation of an agency’s creative ideas, alongside evidence of financial performance and staff and client retention and acquisition.

Managing Director - Client Services Brooke Kenyon said it was a fantastic moment for the team. "Their hard work and their dedication to our clients has delivered smart strategies and creative campaigns which I am incredibly proud of," she said.

“In 2017 when we bought Orchard, co-MD Chris Chilton and I and set some ambitious targets and we’ve taken giant steps towards achieving our mission to meet industry challenges and innovate; developing a proprietary strategic model, launching a digital team, and expanding our specialist support network.

"2020 has thrown huge challenges at us and every business owner on the planet, but this award win demonstrates our solid foundations and our ability to compete alongside the best agencies in the UK.”

The PRCA is the world’s largest PR professional body which seeks to challenge, support and raise industry standards in 66 countries around the world.
