Ben Hill has been appointed as Managing Director for a Guernsey financial services group.
He joins Ocorian from his previous job - Managing Director of Northern Trust - and brings over 20 years' experience in fund administration, banking, custody, depositary and fiduciary services.
"Guernsey is an important part of Ocorian's offering and I look forward to working with Ben at this exciting time in our journey," said Ocorian CEO Farah Ballands. "I am confident that he will help deliver our ambitious growth plans for this key jurisdiction."
In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of the Guernsey business, including service delivery, client care and business development. He will work board members and the team 'on the ground' to produce a strategic plan for sustained growth. He replaces Mel Torode, who stepped in as an Interim MD at the end of 2019 and is now a Non-Executive Director.
Mr Hill said he was "really happy" to be joining Ocorian at a key time for the business: "I am excited to be taking things forward, and building on the firm foundation that have been established by the team in Guernsey already."
