Open evening for talent programme

An open evening for Specsavers' new talent programme will give islanders access to a variety of career options.

The event is being held this Thursday, 17 February. It is open to anyone considering a career move or people in the early stages of exploring careers.

Specsavers’ Managing Director (Europe), Paul Marshall, said the event is an opportunity for prospective participants to meet the company's senior management.

“We would love islanders to join our hugely successful New Talent Programme," said Mr Marshall.

"We’ll have current participants on hand to talk about their experiences and some of the senior management team to explain our exciting plans."

Participants on the programme receive dedicated development time and fast-track routes to career progression. 

Head of Talent and Resourcing Alana Inness said the event was open to everyone.

“Whether you are interested in a role for yourself or someone in your family who is looking at a return to the island after studying or working away, this event will be a great opportunity to go behind the scenes of Guernsey’s very own international retail phenomenon and learn all about the exciting and diverse roles we have here,” said Ms Inness.

“Our recruitment team will also be on hand to answer any questions about other vacancies we have.”
