New mortgage lender aims at older borrowers

RAW Capital Partners has launched a new Guernsey mortgage offering, providing what it calls "a welcome new mortgage lender" to the local market.

Launched last month, the offering aims to provide a flexible new option to the Guernsey market with the focus on more mature local borrowers and on landlords who might have property in Guernsey and the UK.

Unlike banks, who often have a ‘tick box’ approach, RAW says it reviews every case on its own merits and prides itself on creating bespoke lending packages for all types of individual situations, with no age restrictions and all circumstances considered.

RAW can provide short term bridging finance, or longer term lending up to a 5-year term with a minimum loan size £50k and a maximum of £1.5m.

Tim Parkes, Managing Director of RAW Capital Partners, said “We are delighted to enter the local market as we know there is a scarcity of mortgage lenders in Guernsey.  Our focus is on more mature local borrowers and on landlords who might have property in Guernsey and/or the UK. We look forward to working with local professionals to help provide more choice to Guernsey residents.”
