Anthony Hingley has been appointed as HSBC’s new Head of Global Private Banking in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
He is replacing Kevin Herbert who has retired after 35 years with HSBC.
Mr Hingley joined HSBC in 1999 and has worked in markets across the globe.
“I’m delighted to welcome Anthony back to the Channel Islands as we continue to focus on growing our private banking proposition for both local and international customers,” said Warwick Long, CEO of HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
“Anthony’s global client experience and deep relationship network across our core markets, combined with his knowledge of the local market, will add huge value as we continue to support the growth of our business, which remains strategically important for the Group both across Europe and globally.
“At the same time, I would like to acknowledge Kevin’s significant contribution to HSBC over more than three decades. His unrelenting passion to support our people and provide the best possible service for our customers have been impressive and supported the development of our business, and I’d like to extend a special thanks to him.”
