The Ladies’ College has welcomed Nick Dyson to the College as its new Deputy Principal, with a focus on Innovation and Student Development.

His role will include ensuring students have opportunities and support to develop their confidence, voice and skills. He will also lead the new Pathways Provision for Sixth Form which launches next month.

Mr Dyson has spent six years as Director of Creative Enterprise at Francis Holland School Sloane Square, an independent girls’ school in London voted The Times' Independent School of the Year in 2023.

"I’m thrilled to be joining The Ladies’ College," he said.

"The school is clearly committed to preparing students for the real world and I am excited to be working with Ms Harford-Fox and her experienced team to develop several impactful programmes, including supporting the astounding new Pathways Provision for our Sixth Form students. I have already been struck by the warmth of the College community and their openness to innovation and I’m excited to get started.

"From my few visits to the College so far, I have seen how committed the teachers are to student development and the design of meaningful pathways for students. I am excited to be working on the design of several initiatives which will fully prepare the girls for their bright career paths."

Principal of The Ladies’ College, Daniele Harford-Fox, welcomed Mr Dyson to his new role.

"At The Ladies’ College, we aim to create an environment that fosters innovation and inspires students to be creative beyond the classroom. Nick brings significant experience to his role as Deputy Principal - Innovation and Student Development. I’m looking forward to watching how our students interact with him."
