The Medical Specialist Group (MSG) has invested in a new cycle to work scheme.
In a big to encourage healthier lifestyles the MSG’s consultants and staff will be able to take advantage of an interest-free loan to buy a bicycle from any shop on the island.
“I’m really pleased that we have introduced this scheme for our consultants and staff,” said Chief Executive, Jon Buckland.
“Cycling has several health benefits, including improved mental wellbeing by reducing anxiety through exercise. It’s a cost-effective way of travelling to work, and critically it helps to reduce our carbon footprint as an organisation.”
One of the first people to join the scheme was Business Partner, Nathan Collenette.
“As someone who likes to be fit and active, I know how important exercise is for my own wellbeing and motivation levels and how it contributes to a productive and successful day at work,” he said.
“As a member of the HR team, we want the health and wellbeing of our people to be at the core of everything we do.”
