HSBC says it has strengthened its mortgage advisory team with the appointment of Jenna Senior (pictured) to its Guernsey office, with her "considerable experience in regulated mortgage sales".
Ms Senior has been appointed to the role of Regulated Mortgage Advisor at HSBC in Guernsey.
Her appointment comes as Guernsey introduces new lending credit and finance legislation that mandates all islanders must receive financial advice ahead of taking out substantial loans and mortgages. Her appointment reflects the commitment HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man has to providing robust advice to islanders seeking mortgages.
Commenting on her appointment, Pete Turner, Head of Wealth and Personal Banking, HSBC in Guernsey, welcomed Ms Senior to her new role.
“Jenna joins our existing highly qualified and experienced team and with Guernsey introducing new rules in the mortgage area this year, her appointment comes at a crucial time, underlining our commitment to supporting Islanders in all aspects of their wealth and financial planning journey.”
