Liberation Brewery is launching a new "regal beer" - Meghan’s Sparkle – to toast the upcoming wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Meghan’s Sparkle (4% abv.) is a balanced ale, created by marrying British and American hops with a hint of ginger.
The "majestic copper coloured beer" is brewed with the Maris Otter malt to produce a fruity aroma.
Meghan’s Sparkle will be available across the Channel Islands and UK from 30 April until the wedding day on the 19 May.
Mark Crowther, Chief Executive of the Liberation Group: "We’re excited to mark the Royal wedding with a beer fit for a King – or at least a Prince. The combination of American and British hops is a marriage made in heaven.
"Channel Islanders are proud to be British and will want to raise a glass to the happy couple. Hopefully, this beer prove popular with stag and hen dos as well as those drinking on the day.”
The beer will also be on tap at many of The Liberation Group’s 73 pubs in the Channel Islands and 43 pubs in the West Country. Free trade customers will be able to obtain the beer through Butcombe Brewery.
Several of Liberation’s pubs will also be showing the wedding ceremony live on big screens as the Royal Couple ties the knot at the Chapel in Windsor Castle.
