Medicinal cannabis clinic, Medicann, has hired a new specialist doctor to join its pan-island operation.
Dr Charlotte Cocks has been working within the cannabis industry for the past year and will start seeing Medicann patients next week.
She has a background of farming and focuses her work on holistic health and patient-centre care.
“We are thrilled to have Dr Cocks join the team at Medicann,” said CEO of Medicann, Gary Whipp.
“Her expertise and genuine passion for patients and the work we do adds to the positive impact our clinic continues to make on island.
“As more islanders look toward medicinal cannabis treatment, we aim to grow the clinic to ensure the consistent patient- centric care and support that we have become known for,” he said.
Medicann opened Guernsey’s first cannabis clinic earlier this year and now dispenses prescriptions through Stonelakes pharmacy.
