Monsoon will continue trading following a brief closure during the COVID lockdown.
A deal to maintain the lease on the 26 & 28 High Street location, was facilitated by an Associate at Mourant.
“We worked hard to negotiate a new lease for Monsoon Stores,” said Laura Bougourd, “which means two of the most prominent properties, right in the heart of St Peter Port’s traditional high street shopping area will continue to be used for retail purposes.”
Mourant helped renegotiate various aspects of the agreement and it included a relatively uncommon feature in Guernsey, a turnover rent.
