Local business offers Christmas tree replacement service

Auburn Indoors is offering a new service swapping out used Christmas trees for a Kentia Palm.

The home and garden shop has launched its ‘Palm It Off’ campaign.

The replacement service will see your used Christmas tree picked up and recycled by being fed to goats.

Pictured: The replacement palms are all approximately 5ft high.

In its place Auburn Indoors will supply you with a Kentia Palm in a pot. Jack Etheridge from Auburn Indoors said the idea came from feedback he received from clients.

"I created the offer because I had a lot of customers last year saying 'we got used to having a tree there, so we want a replacement'."
