A Channel Islands professional has been recognised in ICAS’ Top 100 Young Chartered Accountants list, showcasing leading Chartered Accountants under the age of 35 worldwide.
Peter Whitsey, Assurance Manager at EY, has been recognised for his role in growing the company’s extended assurance service line in the Channel Islands. EY say the role involves a ‘range of skills’ including regulation, compliance, governance, and business change.
Andrew Dann, Channel Islands Managing Partner for EY, offered Mr Whitsey his congratulations.
“This recognition is testament to his hard work, dedication and commitment to not only providing exceptional client service, but also the role he plays at EY inspiring and supporting junior team members to achieve their own goals,” he said.
He said Mr Whitsey has a passion for mentoring, taking an active role in the firm’s counselling programme, where he provides coaching and support to junior employees.
