Julius Baer in Guernsey has been awarded Best Private Banking Services Overall in Euromoney’s Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey 2020.

The Swiss Wealth Management Group’s Guernsey branch won five awards in the survey, which is voted for by private wealth practitioners from around the world.

The survey was introduced to provide a qualitative review of the private banking services offered globally; with a vision for the survey to form a trusted source for high net worth individuals seeking wealth management solutions.

“I’m proud to be part of a team that’s exceptionally talented and at the top of their fields. These results are a fantastic way to start the year and I would like to thank everyone who voted for us,” said Jean-Luc Le Tocq, Head of Private Banking at Julius Baer in Guernsey.

This is the second consecutive year that Julius Baer has been recognised by its peers as the Best Private Bank Overall in Guernsey, as it continues to build on its legacy in the island since establishing its Guernsey presence in 1989.

In addition to Best Private Banking Services Overall, Julius Baer in Guernsey was ranked 1st for Private Banking and Wealth Management in all four client size categories above US$1 million.

Julius Baer in Guernsey’s Branch Manager, Stephen Burt, said: “We are honoured to receive these esteemed awards. Maintaining strong personal relationships with our clients is our top priority, so to have our local team recognised for their hard work is extremely rewarding.”

This year, the judging process involved 2,332 responses from professionals across the wealth management and private banking sectors.
