Two of Julius Baer Guernsey's Wealth Managers have been named in Citywire’s Top 100 of 2023.
Craig Allen, Head of Investment Management, and Derek Beatty, Senior Portfolio Manager, were both singled out for inclusion in the list.
Citywire is a financial media company offering news and analysis for financial professionals. It compiles an annual list of the UK's leading fund selectors, which is now in its 12th year.
Mr Allen has been listed on Citywire’s Top 100 wealth managers every year since 2017.
He said this year he is focusing on addressing challenges faced by smaller managers in the current financial landscape.
"We somehow need to go back 20 years and foster entrepreneurialism within our industry."
Mr Beatty is known for his expertise in managing multi-asset class portfolios. He has also featured in Citywire’s Top 100 before and has emphasised the effectiveness of a hybrid working model, believing it empowers employees to adjust their day and work when they need to.
