Resolution IT has received the Community Champion Award from Environmental Social Impact Monitor.

The independent accreditation process run by the ESI Monitor is designed to demonstrate a business’ commitment to the community they operate in.

It benchmarks a business against others in their industry in terms of financial, time and in-kind donations.

"We’re really pleased to receive the Community Champion Award," said Client Services Director Pierre Jehan.

The firm's community work includes offering IT support through initiatives such as #StayConnected initiative, where the firm's staff helped by wiping clean and resetting used iPads.

It also includes manual work in a variety of settings across the islands that make up the Bailiwick.

"We offer assistance right across the Bailiwick where we can and in the last year have helped Herm furnish its new community hall and held a raffle to help Sark Dairy Trust in its fundraising drive," said Mr Jehan.

"In Guernsey, we continue to sponsor, support and volunteer across a broad range of community and social initiatives: this year we are supporting as many Guernsey Conservation Volunteers projects as we can, assisting this past weekend with our second sour fig clearance, this time at Port Soif."

Sylvie Laine, from ESI Monitor, said of the firm: "Resolution IT have shown, in the verification phase of the award, that they are at the vanguard of commercial services businesses. Their position in the benchmarking report was noted as outstanding which is a fantastic result."
