IQ-EQ senior leaders recognised as 'Most Influential'

Friday 27 December 2019

Two of IQ-EQ's executive leadership team have been recognised in the 2020 eprivateclient '50 Most Influential' list.

Group Chief Executive Officer, Mark Pesco and Group Chief Commercial Officer, Kevin O'Connell have both made the list for the fourth time.

Before taking the reins of the global investor service group, Mr Pesco garnered more than 15 years experience in senior leadership positions.

Formerly CEO of international fiduciary provider First Names Group, he led its sale to SGG Group in December 2017 through to completion of the transaction in July 2018. Mr Pesco was appointed Group Segment Leader, Private Client of SGG before being named its new Group CEO in January 2019.

He has since led the integration of the combined group, which rebranded to IQ-EQ in March 2019.

Similarly, after more than 20 years in senior roles at First Names Group, Mr O'Connell was appointed Group Chief Commercial Officer following the acquisition by SGG in 2018.

He is responsible for steering IQ-EQ's organic growth strategy across its 23 worldwide jurisdictions and, over the past year, has embedded a global approach to client relationship management. He spends a lot of time working directly with family offices and private clients across the group.

Mr O'Connell was recognised in the eprivateclient 'Most Influential' list in 2014, 2016 and 2019, while Mr Pesco was named in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
