Institute of Directors members in Guernsey are being invited to an online webinar diving into the government’s latest financial accounts with presentations from key politicians and officials.
Representatives from the States will give IoD members and local business leaders a unique opportunity to learn more about the details behind the accounts. On 6 June between 08:00 and 09:00.
A webinar will feature Deputy Heidi Soulsby, Vice-President of the Policy & Resources Committee, the States’ Treasurer, Bethan Haines and Gareth Fooks, the States’ Head of Financial Reporting and Control.
Deputy Soulsby will provide an introduction and an overview of the 2023 performance.
Ms Haines will address some of the details around revenue and expenditure including public sector pay costs.
Finally, Mr Fooks will explain some of the changes in the Accounts compared with the previous year as part of the phased move towards aligning with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).
The presentations will be followed by an audience Q&A.
