IoD Guernsey’s Next Gen Forum has appointed five new members to its Next-Gen committee.
The Next-Gen Committee is responsible for the running and development of the forum, established in 2022.
It is dedicated to supporting and developing professionals in managerial roles and above who are either preparing to step into director-level positions within the next two to five years, or are new directors.
These include Liz Mills, an insurance professional with experience in relationship-building; Tonicha Ward, a marketing expert with a focus on digital strategy; Max Hamon, a finance and technology leader with a background in innovation; Shannon Lancaster, a Chartered Wealth Manager with expertise in ESG investing; and James Lucas, a finance professional with a strong commitment to mental health and community engagement.
In a statement announcing the appointments, Tom Zierer, Chair of the IoD Guernsey Next Gen Committee, said: "It is an exciting time for the Next Gen Forum, and we are thrilled to welcome Liz, Tonicha, Max, Shannon, and James to the committee. Their diverse expertise, fresh perspectives, and dedication to professional development will play a pivotal role in continuing to deliver the forum's ambitious strategy for 2025 and beyond for Guernsey’s next generation of leaders."
Mr Zierer added; “The calibre of candidates who applied for the committee roles was incredibly high and we are grateful to all individuals who expressed interest in joining the committee.”
