Intertrust assists with launch of new fund

Tuesday 25 February 2020

Intertrust has assisted the Bansk Group with the launch and ongoing servicing of its new private fund structure.

The fund has been established as a Guernsey Private Investment Fund (PIF), comprising Bansk Group GP Limited and Bansk Group LP. Its sole purpose is to act as a private investment vehicle for the assets of a family trust and recently completed its initial close at circa US$1.1 billion.

Intertrust, which provides tech-enabled corporate and fund solutions to clients operating and investing in the international investment environment, was appointed as the preferred administration service provider for Bank.

Andrew Maiden, Director of Intertrust's fund services team in Guernsey, said: "This is a significant new fund to the island and our expertise working with new managers is a valuable addition to our client service. Our involvement with Bansk highlights our expertise in the servicing of alternative fund structures and our global service offering which has allowed us to meet the needs of Bansk.

"In utilising the PIF structure, we were able to put in place a solution within the timeframes required, allowing Bansk to focus on implementing their ongoing and successful investment strategy.”
