Northern Trust and PwC Channel Islands have won the ‘Award for Innovation in Fund Services’ at the Investment Week Fund Services Awards in London.
The award is in recognition of work to strengthen the private equity audit process via blockchain technology.
Dave Sauvarin, Country Head for Northern Trust Guernsey said: “Northern Trust is delighted to win the Investment Week 'Award for Innovation in Fund Services' jointly with PwC Channel Islands for our combined work on the ability to automatically audit directly from a blockchain. The award is testament to the collaborative environment in Guernsey, which is helping to position the island to be at the forefront of technology innovation in asset servicing.”
