Local CBD firm House of Green has hired a “pioneer” from the cannabis industry in California as it continues to develop its business in Guernsey.
Michael Pardo has been working in the industry for more than five years and adds to a collective 35 years’ experience at the firm.
Mr Pardo holds a BSc in chemical engineering and will lead up the House of Green’s technical and extraction team.
“We’re delighted to welcome Michael to our growing team,” said group CEO, Paul Smith.
“He brings a wealth of experience with him having led the design and build out for more than five cannabis processing businesses throughout the western United States with input capacities ranging from 250 kg - 2,000 kg of biomass per day.”
Mr Pardo is looking forward to his new role as Chief Techincal Officer.
“I’m thrilled to be joining a company that’s at the forefront of the cannabis industry and to be a part of such a great team here in Guernsey.”
