The Helvetia Challenge, organised by Credit Suisse, returns tomorrow (8 July) and will be used to raise money for the Guernsey Society for Cancer Relief.
The annual event will be split into two sections, competitive and non-competitive, to encourage more people to join.
The challenge is a triathlon and includes a 600-metre swim in Havelet Bay, a one-kilometre ride up and down the Val des Terres and a two-kilometre run along the South Esplanade.
“We are delighted to announce the return of the Hel(l)vetia Challenge this year,” said CEO of Credit Suisse, Glen Tonks.
“We’ve streamlined the sign-up process this year, which we hope will encourage more teams to sign up. This event is the perfect way to bring groups together and raise money for a local charity in a friendly open-to-all event.”
The event starts at midday and runs until 17:00. You can sign up ONLINE.
