Guernsey Finance - which represents and promotes the island’s finance industry internationally - now has a permanent representative in London.
Jo Kitcat will educate financiers and others about Guernsey as a location for financial services and will expand Guernsey Finance's activity in the City of London.
Mr Kitcat has more than 20 years’ experience in the finance industry, including in the development of professional relationships for global financial institutions.
“Guernsey is quite clearly a leading financial centre and I am delighted to be involved in helping to continue build relationships. If people are visiting, please do make contact if there is anything I can do to help,” said Mr Kitcat.
Guernsey Finance operates under the promotional banner ‘We Are Guernsey’ and is led by Chief Executive Rupert Pleasant.
“Jo has great experience in business development across several markets and we look forward to his contribution, sharing the story of Guernsey’s world-class financial services industry, particularly in a key market such as London,” said Mr Pleasant.
