Late filing fees won’t be applied to regulatory returns by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, as long as they are submitted by the end of June.
This is under the provision that they are submitted within two months of the original deadline.
The Commission’s online portal won’t look any different, but we should keep in mind that forms less than two months overdue will not accrue any late fees.
Any firms suffering any significant developments in their financial situation are being asked to notify the GFSC as soon as possible. A reminder for Auditors as well, they’re being asked to get in contact with the GFSC with any fund or firm issues as soon as possible.
