Alan Rowe, Managing Director of Fusion Systems said, “Since we made the decision to focus on our Flyingboat software products we have reduced our need for transporting goods and equipment to clients, so the vehicles were of less use to the business. When we became aware of the logistical challenges that Plant Heritage faced with managing its collection of plants it became an obvious choice to pass the van on to them.”

Plant Heritage Guernsey will use the van to move their collection of plants around their various storage sites, to displays and plant sales as they require from time to time.

Chair, David Fermont, said “As a charitable organisation we have to be very careful with how we use our limited funding so the donation of the van is really valuable to us. Previously we have had to rely on using member’s vehicles to get our stock out to the plant sale events that we have going on at various times throughout the year where we display for sale a wide selection of rare and unusual garden plants.”
